Exporting and printing in Astrato

Export to CSV or XLSX for data objects. For images, copy to Clipboard, or export as PDF, PNG, and JPEG.

For data objects and images, Astrato exports two output types for each. The options offered are different for items in a draft or a published workbook.

For images, you can also right-click and select the option to Copy to the clipboard to use the image in another format. You can also use this function with published workbooks to choose items for Embedding in another platform.



Exporting Data Objects

Please note: Data object export has a maximum limit of 100,000 rows.

  1. In your draft workbook, right-click on your data object to view the Export to options for CSV or XLSX.

  2. Download and print your export.

To show the title, header, and footer on a data object, click on the context menu (three dots in the top right) and select the options you want.

Copying or exporting images to print

Right-click on your workbook in either a Preview or Published state. Two options display:

  • Copy to clipboard, and the options for an Object, Group, or Sheet are offered depending on your selection(s). The message 'Copy should be ready in a few seconds' displays, and then 'Object copied to clipboard' displays when the task is complete.

  • Export > Sheet as and select either Image (PNG or JPEG file types) or PDF to download and print from Astrato.

If your dashboard is published, your Export options are expanded to include exporting an Object or the Sheet.

  • Objects can be exported as CSV, XLSX, Image, or PDF

  • Sheets can be exported as Image or PDF.

Adjusting image width, height, and margins

For PNG and JPEG files, you can change the image width, height, and margin width in pixels (px).

Please note: the aspect ratio of your image is not locked.

Exporting as a PDF

  • For PDF output, select paper size, orientation, and margin options.

  • Click Export.
