How to create your Astrato account, access demo data, and add a workbook.

Welcome to Astrato

Astrato is business intelligence (BI) simplified and built for Cloud. It enables live data decision-making and is compatible with several cloud-based data sources.

Astrato delivers a solution for live-query data visualization and analytics that is

creator-centric and requires no coding. Astrato will show anything that can be queried in your cloud data warehouse, when it comes to data modeling you don't need to reinvent the wheel to suit a BI tool, just get started.

Browser compatibility

We advise using Astrato in Google Chrome or Firefox for optimal experience. The latest versions of Edge and Opera are expected to work but are not officially supported yet.


Signing up for an Astrato account

Sign up for an Astrato account at app.astrato.io.

Please see our page on pricing to find the solution that matches your needs. You can use a Google or Linkedin account (using your account login and password) or enter an email address and create a password.

Help and Support

In addition to these pages, at the bottom right corner of all pages in Astrato is a little speech bubble, which you can use to ask our Support Team any questions.

Single Sign-on (SSO) Login

Astrato's Enterprise Authentication offering allows businesses to use a centralized Identity Provider (IdP) for managing their user accounts. Astrato has Single sign-on (SSO) support for Passthrough Authentication for Snowflake, Google Workspace, and Open ID connect.

Creating an Astrato Account

  1. Sign up for an Astrato account at app.astrato.io

  2. Select the account type (Google or LinkedIn), or enter an email address.

  3. If you choose Google, select which account you want to use and approve access for Astrato.

  4. Enter your name and password. This generates an authorization email.

  5. Check your email for the authorization message, then verify your account by clicking the link in the email. You've now created your Astrato account. Congratulations!

Logging in and the next steps in Astrato

  1. Once you've created an account, you'll use the same link to log in: app.astrato.io

  2. The Astrato Workspace displays once you're logged in.

  3. Import the demo workbooks by clicking on the Demo workbook card to establish a connection to the Demo data.

  4. Click “Create Workbook” in the top right corner of your workspace. Now you've got data and a workbook; you're ready to start.
